The Kayaking

There is no better way to feel the water than to glide across it under your own power in a kayak. While paddling along dramatic cliffs, waterfalls tumble into the sea and you come face-to-face with harbor seals, porpoises and occasionally a whale. Through the pristine water abundant sea life including schools of herring, urchins and sea stars are clearly visible. We highly recommend this priceless experience. We team up with a local kayaking company, Adventure High Sea Kayaking, to bring campers out on the water. Before heading out, Adventure High runs through a training, and sea kayaking safety demonstration to ensure everyone is on the same page. Campers will paddle in tandem kayaks with a buddy! 

This is an additional optional expense. We also have fun activities structured for campers who choose to stay back from kayaking, including squid and shark dissections, arts and crafts, sand castle building contests, and more!
